Hi there! My name is Sam. I'm a professional software engineer and hobbyist hardware designer.

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area with my partner and our deaf old rescue dog.

I'm passionate about building good platforms, decentralization/federation, and growth. I love product work.

I'm a fullstack developer with a recent focus on backend. My day to day is mostly Go, Python, and React/Redux. I have a soft spot for Rust and Lua though.

My hobbies include playing with synthesizers, cooking, fermenting things (including homebrew), playing tabletop RPGs, crafting cocktails, gardening (especially for herbs and produce), and playing jazz guitar.
